101's Finance Manager is lacing up her walking boots this May, joining 50 others for an epic walk through scenic Norfolk countryside to raise funds for Nelson's Journey and Fight Bladder Cancer.
Nicola Hall, 101's Finance Manager, will be stepping out on a 26.2-mile charity walk this May, joining other walkers and local businesses to raise vital funds for Nelson’s Journey and Fight Bladder Cancer.
Nic is participating as part of the team from Wensum Valley Leisure, a 101 website client. The route will take them from North Walsham to Taverham, following the scenic Weaver’s Way and Marriott’s Way. Around 50 walkers are expected, with some taking on the full marathon and others opting for the half marathon distance.
101 are event sponsors, along with several other local firms. Organisers aim to raise £10,000 to support the two charities. Nelson’s Journey helps bereaved children and young people in Norfolk, while Fight Bladder Cancer focuses on raising awareness and improving treatment options for those affected by bladder cancer.
Nicola said, “It’s a big challenge but I’m proud to be raising funds two amazing causes and we’re grateful for all the support we’ve received.”
