Get a new .uk domain for your website.
On the 10th June 2014 the new .uk domain names will be launched. If you own the .co.uk version you will automatically have the right to register the .uk variant.
Point to your website
Once your.uk domain has been registered, this can point directly to your website, or a specific page or section of your website and you can use it in your promotional literature.
Set up another website
If you are an international business or wish to have different information on your .uk website you may choose to have a standalone .uk website.
Sell the domain
If you are the owner of a .co.uk registered before 10th June 2014 you have the rights to the domain, you may choose to register the domain and then sell it on to someone else. If you already have a buyer this could be a straight sell or you could have a web page giving details of how someone can buy the domain from you.
