Sales Admin Apprentice

We are looking for a hard-working, self-motivated team player who is ready to learn more about the business world.

The candidate will need to be driven and motivated. The Apprenticeship will involve learning about the business and their services.

You will be responsible for assisting our dynamic sales team. You will be a great communicator, have good written skills, and be tidy and organised.

You role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Assisting with lead generation
  • Assisting in the sales process
  • Sales administration
  • Attending events
  • Calling & emailing prospects and customers
  • Assisting with the preparation of sales and marketing plans
  • Despatch of marketing materials & follow up
  • Assisting with producing reports
  • Raising invoice requests
  • Database updating and record keeping
  • General office administration

This is a varied role, which will keep you on your toes and offers plenty of real opportunities for career development.

Skills required within this role:
Candidates should have:

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Commercial awareness 

Qualifications required:
Maths and English at GCSE grades A-C preferred (or equivalents). You will be expected to undertake the Apprenticeship qualifications.

High energy levels, optimism and an outgoing personality, as well as, a professional image 

Future prospects
A permanent position may be available for the right candidate following successful completion of the Apprenticeship. The business is looking for somebody who wants to develop and gain a full time position following their Apprenticeship. 

Reality check:
You will be working 40 Hours per Week, 5 Days a Week, 9am - 5.30pm with a 60 minute lunch break (you will be paid for the first 30 minutes of your lunch break). You will have 20 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays

This position and Apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to develop your skills and experience and begin to build a career. A permanent position may be possible at the end of your Apprenticeship based on performance.

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training. 

Salary £160 per week
